The above shot is from the morning. I like how the sun makes the left side of the cone look like it has an orange spot on it as the right side fades into a red color. You will also notice the shadow to the right of the cone is a small shadow.
This shot was taken during the evening. You will notice the left side now has a yellow color and the right now has an orange-red color. The shadow to the right is much longer which made the picture a little more challenging to capture.
This shot was done at night. As you may notice, the flash from the camera lit the area around the cone. You can tell this because the grass closest to the cone is very light but then gets darker as you look out further. This time the middle of the cone has a yellow tint to it created from the flash and the rest of the cone has a light orange color.
I found the evening shot to be the most difficult to do because of the light the sunset had reflecting off of the cone. It was the most difficult to get to focus as well. The positioning of the camera was also very important in getting a good shot because where the light reflects off of the object makes a big difference.

A simplistic idea that captures the different lighting aspects very well. It is funny how the flash can sometimes ruin a picture; the way it affects light and color can change the entire composition.
